I was born and raised in the “Bluff City,” Memphis, Tennessee by my loving mother. In 2015, my mother and I relocated to Atlanta, Georgia where I attended Booker T. Washington High School before moving to Huntsville, Alabama in 2016. 

Since an early age, I have possessed a keen interest in writing and news media. Local and major news outlets were prevalent in my household, as it was always on the television or radio. I became fascinated with the aura and professionalism of the on-air talent and would often say, “I can see myself doing that someday.”

I graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Auburn University in May 2022. For over three years, I served as a News Producer at WAFF 48 News in Huntsville, Alabama.

In August 2025, I graduated cum laude with a master’s degree in journalism and media studies from the University of Alabama.

For nearly a year, I worked as a Weekend Morning News Producer/MMJ at WTOC 11 in Savannah, Georgia. During my time there, I was among the first reporters on the scene for several major breaking-news stories that garnered national attention, including the Brantley County wildfire and the deadly mass shooting on St. Helena Island, South Carolina. I also closely followed the Yurezz Mobile Home Center case, helping customers who had purchased mobile homes navigate the situation and connect with resources for assistance.

I am a proud member of the National Association of Black Journalists and a dedicated member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.

In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, shopping, community service, and spending time with family and friends.
